Centretown–Golden Triangle
Central

Overview
Centretown and the Golden Triangle sit just south of Parliament Hill and City Hall, between the Rideau Canal and Bronson Avenue. The area mixes large older single-family homes (many now subdivided into apartments) with condominiums, around two main commercial spines: Bank Street and Elgin Street. Elgin Street in particular has a village-like feel a few blocks from the Rideau Canal, with restaurants, bars, and small shops; the stretch nicknamed "Sens Mile" became a gathering point during the Ottawa Senators' 2007 playoff run and the name has stuck.
