Centrepointe–Craig Henry
Ouest
Aperçu
Centrepointe–Craig Henry is a west-end residential area bounded roughly by Highway 417, Hunt Club Road, Highway 416, and Woodroffe Avenue, made up of neighbourhoods including Leslie Park, Briargreen, Arlington Woods, and Bruce Farm that were mostly laid out from the 1960s through the 1990s. The area traces back to early farm settlement — William Leslie, who arrived from Ireland in 1819, farmed land that later gave several of these neighbourhoods their names — and today combines mature trees and winding crescents with the Centrepointe civic precinct, including a public library and theatre.
